JV Football Keep Their Winnings Ways Against Fremont

The JV Football team gained a victory over Fremont Thursday night 27-8.  Leading on the ground was Micah Johnson, Mitch Herald and Jordan Groce each rushing for over 50 yards.  Micah Johnson had 2 TD’s and Mitch Herald one TD.  Cole Olson passed for a TD to Kaden Shoen and Riley Bowen caught a PAT. 

Lady Hornet Golfers compete at Kenowa Hills Tournament

All 6 players had  personal bests.  Back 9 holes the lady Hornets shot a 195(under our goal of 200).  Team is showing ball striking improvements There were 14 teams, Caledonia 323 were the champs.  Central Montcalm (403) placed 12th place. Varsity Football defeated by Fremont 26-12

The Hornets lost a hard fought game to the Fremont Packers Friday night.  With 4:30 left in the fourth quarter and the Hornets down 20-12.  The Hornets were driving to tie the game and were stopped on fourth down at the Packer 40 yard line.  Fremont went on to add another score giving a final

Girls Golf Team 2nd Place in CSAA Jamboree

The Lady Hornets scores for the CSAA 2nd Jamboree are: Kayla Daggett 99, Kaylee Borton 104, Addison McKay 107, Anna Lake 110. Varsity Volleyball defeats Newaygo in 3 games

Central Montcalm Varsity Volleyball defeated Newaygo in three sets last night 0 25-13, 25-10 and 25-17. Hannah Putnam had 11 kills, 2 blocks, 3 digs, and 17 service points. 674 Runners compete in the Hornet Run Saturday

The 41st annual Hornet Run was a successful event with 14 teams bringing 674 athletes and 1500 spectators.  Our Varsity Athletes performed extremely well with all posting Personal Records or Season Best Times.  The following athletes took home a medal for placing 25th or higher in their grade level.  Freshmen Tea Hoffman placed 2nd overall

Varsity Football team loses to Newaygo Friday Night

The Hornets lost to Newaygo 62-14 on Friday night.  Teague Stander led the offense with 160 on 15 carries.  Gunner Hill led on defense with 10 tackles. Varsity Hornets travel to Fremont next Friday.

JV Football defeats Newaygo JV 26-6
